A good alternative to install on latest Windows versions is Free Address Book application. I've downloaded and installed the application through the official website and then installed it on my PC running Windows 10 x64 and it works just fine. The Address Book 6 by Parsons is no longer updated and maintained.
There is no information about the software, therefore it's hard to comment the compatibility with Windows 10. But if you have the software installed, then you can confirm this by yourself. Firstly, right click the setup package and choose Properties > Compatibility > Windows XP Service Pack 3. Next, tick the Run as Administrator in the same window and launch the installation procedure. If you encounter errors, then Windows 10 is not supported.
I have successfully used Address Book 6.0 for a number of years. I recently bought a new computer with Windows 7 64-bit. I tried to install my old Address Book 6 on the new computer and it is not recognized. If I buy the current version of Address Book will it work on my new computer? Can I load the address information from my old computer (which still works) to my new machine?

Yes, the latest version of the application is fully compatible with your system, but unfortunately it has been discontinued by its developer and you can't purchase it directly anymore. You can try to find it on Amazon, eBay or other similar websites. Also, you can transfer the data from the previous program to the new one using Export/Import feature.
I'm trying to move Address 7.0 data from one computer to another, Windows XP to Windows 7. When I try to backup data, so I can restore on the other system, I get a not enough space message even though there is space. When I try to import a comma, delimited export of data I get a not the right format message even though the format and my selection is correct. Why is this and what is the recommended procedure for moving data?

It's possible that the application isn't compatible with Windows 7 which means you will have to take a different approach. First make sure you install the application correctly with the compatibility tweaks applied, then use a user with Administrator rights to start it. This will give Address Book exclusive permissions to the system partition. This is one problem related to the import feature provided by the application.
There is no information about this application. In this case, I can say that the compatibility doesn't actually exist. However, if you have the software, you can install it on your computer using the compatibility settings available when you right click > Properties > Compatibility. This is the only way to attempt an installation on your computer.

Since Parsons Address book is no longer available for update, is there a substitute or a program into which I can move the data?
There is an application called StatTrak Address Manager 5.1 which has the capability of opening files from Parson AddressBook application.

What is the price for Address Book by Parsons Technology for Windows 8?
Unfortunately, Address Book by Parson Technology program was discontinued by the developer. Because of this, the application didn't receive any more updates. The latest version was developed to run on Windows 7, so you might encounter compatibility issues while using it on Windows 8. You can use rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank" href="https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=Address%20Book%20by%20Parsons%20Technology%20online%20store">Google to find an online store from where you can purchase the latest version, and use compatibility features to run it under Windows 8. You can find out more about this subject on the following website.

Is this program compatible with Windows Vista? Is it the same program originally developed by Parsons Technology?
I used this program in Vista & am currently using it in Windows 7 with no problems.
